The title is an insane combination of (1) a song by Rammstein I'm keeping on listen to every and every single hour (Feuer Frei) and (2) the ballad written in 1798 by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. This last is a new entry into the panorama of our school year English literature program, and I'm already captivated by its gloomy, mysterious and gothic atmosphere. The episode which I mentioned in the title of this journal, is the last stanza of the first part, that, after an apparent calm, introduces the bird's murder, seen as an unforgivable sin, due to the fact that albatros is, in the popular symbolism, a presence of good omen.
The aim of this explanation is simply... to fill this journal. I'm out of ideas. ;__; I feel a bit strange, in this period, maybe due to my break up with my boyfriend, maybe due to the school. The only things that keep on running through my head are that hellish song {BEAUTIFUL hellish song} and an image where the ancient mariner kills the albratos following the song sick beat XD
